Senior Coordinator, Sales Coordination
Description
- Order Processing: The Senior Sales Coordinator is accountable for receiving and entering customer orders into the ERP system. They then monitor the shipment until delivery is successfully made at the customer’s location.
- Customer Interaction: As a key point of contact, the Senior Sales Coordinator engages directly with customers and provides value-added support to elevate the overall experience.
- Collaboration with Commercial Team: The Senior Sales Coordinator partners with commercial and manufacturing team members. Together, they handle periodic account actions, including pricing notifications, sample requests, regulatory inquiries, quality issues and specific billing questions.
- Customer Setup and Management: The role involves assisting in the setup of new customers and managing existing customer information within the internal system database.
- Reporting: The Senior Sales Coordinator assembles and distributes relevant sales and order reports to the organization.
- Experience: The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in an account support role, demonstrating a customer-centric mindset.
- Collaboration: The ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Administrative Skills: Strong administrative skills are required, including proficiency in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
- Multitasking: The Senior Sales Coordinator must be capable of performing multiple tasks and effectively prioritizing while maintaining attention to a high degree of detail.
- Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills are important for success in this role. Solid math skills for pricing, weights, conversions.
- Associate’s degree or higher
- International shipping experience
- Experience working with ERP systems – JDE, SAP, etc.
- Expert level proficiency of Microsoft Excel
