Position Summary    
Perform preventative maintenance and light repair, trucks, heavy and small mobile equipment. Including plant processing equipment as needed.    
 Duties & Responsibilities    
  • Prioritizes SAFETY, then QUALITY, followed by PRODUCTION.
  • Ensures a safe work environment for self and others at all times. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment; report to work on time as scheduled
  • Fuel and lube all mobile equipment and have it ready to operate before the next shift
  • Conducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time on all types of equipment.
  • Preventative maintenance and PM oil samples on all mobile and fixed plant equipment
  • Conducts light repairs of all types of equipment as required to ensure proper working condition; dismantle and reassemble/rebuild equipment as required.
  • Performs annual inspections, evaluations and repairs. Maintains an accurate schedule and legible record of equipment and vehicle maintenance logs and reports.
  • Order parts for mobile and fixed plant equipment
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience    
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Must be safety-oriented and exhibit safe work habits.
  • Punctual and reliable; good attendance required.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and able to obtain CDL license within 60 days.
  • Heavy equipment and/or on-highway truck maintenance\PM experience or related field preferred
  • Must be able to provide and use a good working set of mechanics tools.

Salary Posting:

We are excited to share the base range for this position is $25.00 - $32.50, exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base hourly compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The posted range for this role represents the total reasonable pay range and does not solely represent a hiring range. Therefore, hiring at the top or maximum of the range should not be expected as it would not allow for salary growth opportunities in the role, would diminish promotion value, and may not align with internal equity.
