Intern, Supply Chain/Shared Services

Position Overview 
We are seeking a college Intern to join our Supply Chain and Shared Services team at our corporate office in Raleigh, NC. This role will provide an opportunity to contribute towards key projects and analysis that are important to our business. Contributions include coordination of small projects, documenting processes, providing ad-hoc analysis, and supporting efforts to build and maintain business processes, systems, and data.  
Responsibilities: 
  • Participate in projects focused on process development, improvement, root cause analysis, and other problem-solving needs 
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities 
  • Support supplier onboarding and maintain accurate vendor master data 
  • Assist with invoice matching and resolution of transaction discrepancies with suppliers 
  • Support the maintenance and optimization of procurement and financial systems 
  • Perform all activities in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct

Qualifications and Skills: 
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business administration, supply chain or related field 
  • Ability to research and learn independently 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret and leverage data effectively 
  • Organized and detail oriented with ability to manage tasks and timelines 
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
