Martin Marietta is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor to provide customer service support relating to orders and shipments of Martin Marietta products. The Customer Service Supervisor will ensure that good customer relations are maintained, and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly, effectively and in accordance with the consumer laws.

Location:

Martin Marietta’s Nebraska market is anchored by several key aggregate facilities—most notably the Weeping Water Mine, Dubois Quarry, Fort Calhoun, and West Center Sand—which supply crushed stone, sand, gravel, and aglime to contractors, municipalities, and producers across the state. The Nebraska operations are strategically positioned to serve the Omaha metro area and surrounding regions, supporting both infrastructure and commercial construction demand

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the daily activities of a customer service team
  • Assigns work/accounts, checks for quality of service and activities, and provides guidance to ensure ongoing team member development and improvement
  • May occasionally perform customer service work to ensure the team’s expected output levels are achieved on a daily or weekly basis
  • Handles escalated customer service issues without clear resolution steps
  • Explains Martin Marietta practices and procedures to team members to ensure they understand and can perform their work accurately
  • Orders materials for next day deliveries
  • Sales activities that include, quote, covert quotes into sales orders, obtain sales tax exempt,
  • Support customers with tickets, invoices, and collections

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • A valid US driver's license

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position that regularly requires long hours and weekend work. Occasional travel will be required. andnbsp;
