Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Maintenance Crew Member. This position will be responsible for diagnosis, repair, and preventative maintenance of mobile and stationary equipment at our Ames Mine, Located in Central Iowa. The current work schedule is 10am-8pm. 
Essential Functions
  • Maintain and inspect plant equipment
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to insure plant availability
  • Record performed maintenance and inspections
  • Diagnose and repair equipment on site
  • Maintain and organize maintenance equipment and tools
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience 
  • High School diploma, GED or Equivalent
  • 1 year of manual labor work experience
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Industrial Maintenance, Agricultural Maintenance, Welding, Military,  or Material Handling Experience
  • 2 year degree in a related field
  • Certified Welder
  • Experience with a Telehandler or Manlift
  • Bi-Lingual is a plus

Work Environment
This job operates 100% of the time in an underground or surface mine setting.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position that regularly works long hours and weekend work.
