Quality Coordinator
Description
- Provide administrative support for the quality team across the Pacific Region.
- Collect, enter, distribute, and track documents and records as needed.
- Communicate document requirements and client standards to the project team.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of both incoming and outgoing documents, adhering to proper file formatting.
- Manage responses to submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and RFCs (Requests for Change) in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track outstanding document responses, providing daily updates on status.
- Order supplies for the labs within the region.
- Attend department meetings as needed.
- Maintain accreditation documentation, such as laboratory records, test logs, calibration logs and maintenance records. Assist with audits and inspections
- Assist with the document control of multiple AASHTO accredited laboratories.
- Proficient in math, reading and writing skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain composure in variety of situations and act in a professional manner.
- Must be team oriented with ability to effectively manage conflict.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in general office equipment and tasks, including filing and typing.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experienced in using document control software, such as MS SharePoint.
- Advanced PC skills with proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Understanding of general construction and engineering documents is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years related industry experience.
- Must have a valid US driver license with a minimum of two years clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in an office environment supporting multiple sites.
- Flexible to work daily working hours dependent on customer demands
- Ability to travel to various locations throughout the Pacific region. Which may require extended stays at times.
