What to expect:
We are seeking an Information Services Leadership Program associate to join our
Corporate Information Services (IS) team in Raleigh, NC. The Information Services Leadership Program is a unique opportunity for recent college graduates to jump-start their career by gaining multi-departmental experience and developing transferrable skills at an accelerated pace. This rotational program includes job rotations, training, and mentorship. Upon successful completion of the program, and based on business need, aptitude, and interest, the ISLP associate and company will collaborate to identify the best full-time position.
A typical day for an Information Services Leadership Program includes:
- Successfully complete the job requirements associated with three to four rotations over a 24-month period, in addition to any program training requirements. Potential rotational assignments may include information security, systems or network architecture, asset management, application development, software engineering, analytics, project management, and more.
- Actively learn the role requirements of each assigned rotation, deliver strong performance, and leave your mark on the team by delivering lasting improvements
- Collaborate with project and cross-department/functional teams to solve technical and business problems to deliver desired results
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, including internal customers and peers
- Support other strategic initiatives, projects and analyses as assigned
- Perform all activities in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct
Qualification, skills, and characteristics we look for:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or other relevant major
- A strong commitment to a career in the information technology industry, showcasing a keen interest and natural talent in software and IT fields
- Intern or academic (project, research) experience in engineering, software, or relevant area
- Familiar with the latest software industry standards
- Track record of leadership through successful management of teams in academic or other settings
- Flexibility with rotation assignments
- Exhibits a high level of critical thinking proficiency
- Emphasizes a strong orientation towards customer needs and preferences
- Fosters innovative approaches and defies conventional thinking
- Experience leading or working on project teams
- Identifies areas for process enhancement and efficiency gains
- Written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
- Willingness to work in office up to 5 days per week
