Regional Administrative Assistant
Description
Position Summary
Serve as Administrative Assistant to the Regional VP/GM. Providing comprehensive administrative support to Regional & District Senior Leadership.
Requirements
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters
- Use advanced computer skills to create, modify and update presentations, write memos, plan conferences/meetings/company events, plan and prepare Regional & District VP meeting materials
- Assist with Regional & District Senior Management travel arrangements
- Assist with Regional & District budgeting
- Post/Communicate Regional/District organizational and policy changes
- Interact with internal and external consultants, vendors, business leaders and employees
- Participate and document Regional & District Senior Management meeting minutes and communicate commitments from meeting notes to respective leaders
- Organize and manage calendars, expense statements for Senior Regional & District Managers.
- Organize, plan, coordinate, execute Regional & Senior District meetings
- Manage Region fleet in collaboration with Corporate fleet management team
- Maintain explosives permit for Region
- Oversee day-to-day function/needs of the Regional/District offices
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ administrative experience supporting senior level executives
- Expert computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet and Visio
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external business contacts; excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent listening skills and ability to work with employees at all levels of the corporation
- Ability to work with and handle confidential/non-public information
- Self-starter with professional demeanor, sensitivity to others and keen willingness to learn
- Strong intellectual acumen and practical thinking
Education
- 2-4 year degree preferred
