Summary:

We are seeking an Analyst to join our team within Procurement. This position is responsible for documenting, analyzing, and improving procurement and supply chain business processes. The Analyst will act as a liaison between the procurement department, operations, information services, accounts payable, and other functions, ensuring that procurement processes and systems meet the needs of the organization. This role will monitor process performance, supplier performance and data quality in related systems and assist with or lead projects and initiatives as required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation
  • Lead and/orandnbsp;participate in procurement and supply chain related projectsandnbsp;
  • Ensure process integrity, test system changes, train users, write user documentation, define reports and analyze data flows for process improvement opportunitiesandnbsp;
  • Function as a key procurement contact, building and maintaining strong relationships with operations, IS, other departments, internal customers and external third parties
  • Troubleshoot process and system issues. Uses understanding of system setup, interdependencies and data flow to resolve issues. Works with technical resources to design, develop, test and implement resolutions
  • Respond to end user inquiries while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Identify, collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support leadership decisions
  • Provide end user training for new users and on-going training to ensure the effective execution of standard processes and full utilization of existing systems; assists with rollout related to new systems and initiatives
  • Perform all activities in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, or related STEM field preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, systems, interpersonal and communications skills
  • Experience in project management, risk management and/or change management preferred
  • Strong prioritization skills with ability to multi-task and support multiple customers/projects
  • Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
