The Senior Mechanic for the Asphalt and Paving Shop is an advanced journey-level position responsible for the expert maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a specialized fleet of asphalt paving equipment and heavy-duty diesel trucks. Beyond technical execution, the Senior Mechanic serves as a technical lead, providing mentorship to junior mechanics and ensuring that the paving crew's high-stakes equipment—including pavers, rollers, and milling machines—operates at peak efficiency to minimize downtime during critical paving windows.
