Position Summary

The Distributor Operator will be responsible for loading hauling, and spraying CSS-1H emulsion and liquid A/C on various paving and construction projects in and around the Northern Colorado front range. When not operating, you may assist with paving operations including asphalt or base hauls while operating a tandem or tractor-trailer combination or water truck.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Class A CDL with a tanker endorsement.
  • Self-starter and punctual. Willing and able to work weekends and nights as required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiar with all FMCSA rules and regulations in the operation of a CMV. Able to perform and document a Pre and Post Trip Inspection.
  • Willing to work hours that are associated with the asphalt industry, including overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Physical Requirements & Conditions

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noise
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling material.

Salary Posting:

We are excited to share the base range for this position is $XX.XX-$XX.XX, exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base hourly compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The posted range for this role represents the total reasonable pay range and does not solely represent a hiring range. Therefore, hiring at the top or maximum of the range should not be expected as it would not allow for salary growth opportunities in the role, would diminish promotion value, and may not align with internal equity.
