Description

  • The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts, packaging, boxing, palletizing product, loading and unloading trucks, and warehousing product and raw materials. This position is also responsible for general maintenance and clean up duties to meet FDA requirements.

    Requirements and Responsibilities

    • Must have an outstanding attendance record
    • Have ability to shrink wrap pallets and transfer product to the warehouse
    • Load and unload trucks and assist in receiving supplies
    • Maintain supplies of packaging material on the lines
    • May be required to move inventory onsite and located off property
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    Education/Experience:

    • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
    • 2 years’ work experience
    • Ability to read and understand written instructions
    • Ability to push, pull or lift 50 lbs. repetitively
    • Forklift experience preferred
    • 2 years’ work experience preferred

    Work Environment/Conditions/Physical Demands:

    These are considered essential duties and are illustrative of those job tasks, which are fundamental. Work will take place in a manufacturing environment. Lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work on elevated platforms. Must have the ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time. Employee may be required to work weekends, holidays and be on-call on occasion. The employee may encounter controlled air conditions with frequent air changes and environmental exposure. Seasonally hot climate.
