Summary: 

The Network Associate will be responsible for operational support, service delivery, and documentation of the enterprise network infrastructure. This position requires knowledge of or a willingness to learn network technologies including but not limited to route/switch, telephony, and wireless communications.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Engage in network planning and implementation
  • Provide operational support for enterprise network infrastructure as required
  • Leverage technical and industry knowledge to exercise good judgment, evaluate trade-offs, and plan for risk mitigation during the design and implementation project phases
  • Aid in health monitoring of enterprise network operations and services
  • Assist others with understanding network technologies and industry best practices

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and be attentive to detail
  • Ability to work independently, or in groups, while maintaining a courteous attitude when dealing with customers and users
  • Ability, and willingness, to complete several concurrent tasks in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, multi-tasking environment
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn new technologies

 

Preferences: 

  • CCST/CCENT or other industry certifications
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a dynamic team environment
  • 2 years of hands-on experience designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting enterprise architecture with an emphasis on networking technologies
