Salesforce Support Administrator

Job Purpose:   

As a Salesforce Support Administrator, you will play a critical role in the support, and maintenance of our Salesforce platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business issues and requests, design solutions, and implement enhancements that optimize our use of Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce administration, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success.   

Main Duties and Responsibilities:     

  • Customize and configure Salesforce to support business processes and workflows
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze support issues (tier1-ter3) 
  • Design and implement custom objects, fields, page layouts, and workflows
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into key metrics and performance indicators
  • Manage user permissions, roles, profiles, and security settings in Salesforce
  • Lead end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support and guidance to Salesforce users including "how to" use the system and related KB article creation
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users in a timely manner

Requirements:   

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) required; additional certifications such as Advanced Administrator (ADM 211) or Platform App Builder a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce administration, including hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, sales and service cloud
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
