Title:

Regional Director, Cell and Gene Operations NORAM

CAN BE LOCATED IN PHILADELPHIA, LOS ANGELES, MIAMI OR DURHAM, NC.

Main Purpose:

In this role, the candidate will provide an enhanced level of management and leadership support of all Cell and Gene operations in NORAM through Marken’s network and that of our parent company, UPS.

Taking an active role in the setting up and ongoing development of NORAM Cell & Gene Therapy teams.

Lead the implementation and management of all related Operations in his/her region.  Accountability for the day-to-day operations work and to ensure systems and capacity are sufficient to meet business requirements.

Developing strategies and tactics for improving and automated operations

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Develop, oversee and lead NORAM Cell and Gene operations team.

1. Responsible as line manager from hiring process to leading NORAM Cell & Gene operations team (CGT).

1. Effectively support BDs, PMs, CRMs and QA/QCs in clients’ visits, meetings and audits.

1. Serve as an escalation point for internally and externally for Cell and Gene projects.

1. Managing the regular reporting of CGT NORAM operations to senior management team.

1. Management and oversight of CGT training development.

1. Provide leadership guidance to NORAM CGT.

1. Provide coordination and guidance to NORAM CGT within CGT and across other departments.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification of university degree in science or supply chain.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry Knowledge in Pharma, Medicine, or Logistics.
• Experience in building up a new business unit in the region.
• Leadership skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of pharma industry specializing in Cell & Gene therapy.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements concerning cryogenic transportation and commercial drugs.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cold chain supplies and logistics in healthcare settings
• Knowledge of cryostorage and transportation of Cell & Gene products in both clinical and commercial stages.
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks.
• Must have an eye for detail and the ability to think on their feet.
• Organized and skilled in tracking with the ability to multi-task and problem solve.
• Fluent in English
• PC and Microsoft products experience a must.
• Travel as required for the job function.
