Driver

Job Purpose:

Marken driver operate Marken-owned or leased vans or trucks with professionalism, utmost care and caution, adhering to all driving laws and Company rules and regulations. Our drivers work to grow the Marken brand and build customer loyalty through excellent communication skills and customer service. Also adhering to safety guidelines and regulations while performing required warehouse duties.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pickup and delivery of shipments as assigned;
• Checking of shipment paperwork to ensure completeness;
• Marking and labelling of shipments;
• Sorting export shipments by destination and lodging shipment to the respective ground handlers’ counters;
• Sorting import shipments by client for delivery;
• Checking of all export and import shipments for damages (if any) and escalate to the Operations Supervisor immediately;
• Reporting of customs cleared immediately after clearance performed for the shipments.
• Reporting of pick-on board (POB) immediately after pick up of a collection;
• Reporting of delivery details (POD) immediately after delivery of a shipment.

Requirements:

• Educated in Supply Chain and Logistics
• 3 years of driving experience
