Job Title:       Marketing & Sales Activation Coordinator    

Department:  Marketing

Reports To:   Director, Marketing

Status:           Full-Time; Exempt

 

Primary Objective:
Oversee activities and events focused on Season Ticket Member retention and customer acquisition through high-touch experiences and engagement opportunities.    

Essential Functions:

  • Plan and execute all customer appreciation and acquisition events related to ticket sales
  • Develop new events and initiatives to increase retention and revenue across all product categories
  • Interface with Sales leadership team members to determine, develop and review initiatives
  • Carryout internal communication plan to staff members and executives as it relates to Ticket Sales events and activations
  • Oversee ideation and acquisition of customer gifts including customer engagement and premium items
  • Develop and manage new Season Ticket Member rewards program through the Ballpark app
  • Assist with Marketing and Group event efforts as needed
  • Assist with on-field production at Mariners games as needed
  • Assist with the hiring, training and management of the Navigators program
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Marketing
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, sports marketing, business administration or related field required. Equivalent, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education if approved by management.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in sales, marketing or events required. Prefer applicable experience in professional sports or entertainment.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or lead experience required.

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, some holidays and event nights. Ability to travel to local offsite sales meetings as scheduled.
  • Competent in required job skills and knowledge. Completes work assignments thoroughly and completely in an accurate, and prompt. Identifies and corrects errors.  Is careful, alert and accurate, paying attention to details of the job.
