Job Title: Seasonal Strategy & Analytics Intern
Department: Strategy & Analytics
Reports To: Sr. Director, Revenue Optimization
Status: Seasonal Internship (May-August)
Primary Objective:
The Seasonal Strategy & Analytics Intern will support the Mariners' Strategy & Analytics team by assisting in the analysis of sales and marketing campaign performance, as well as contributing to the development of AI tools and protocols. Additionally, the intern will help with research functions, providing insights that support strategic initiatives across the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Campaign Analysis: Assist in analyzing sales and marketing campaigns, including data collection, performance tracking, and generating actionable insights that inform decision-making.
- AI Tools Development: Support the development and testing of AI-driven tools and protocols, aimed at enhancing data processing, automation, and predictive analysis for the team.
- Research Support: Conduct research to support ongoing projects, including gathering data on industry trends, competitor performance, and relevant emerging technologies.
- Reporting and Insights: Help prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards that summarize key findings, trends, and insights for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Sales, Strategy & Analytics and Digital Marketing to gather and analyze data, ensuring alignment across projects.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for other strategic projects as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Sports Management, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.

- Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets, providing clear and actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Power BI
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
