Primary Objective: Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of monthly internal financial statements, including preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.


Essential Functions:

  • Processes month-end financial statements for various consolidating entities, including preparing journal entries and processing transactions for various areas of the financial cycles (e.g. balance sheet and income statement cycles).
  • Analyzes and reconciles general ledger accounts for various consolidated entities, which include identifying and resolving discrepant
  • Processes incoming mail (invoices, statements, checks, notices, etc.).
  • Assists departments with financial statement related
  • Contributes to audit preparation by providing requested documentation and
  • Prepares schedules for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting both internally and
  • Proactively identifies and implements process
  • Will perform other duties as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of one (1) year of accounting experience required.
  • CPA certification

 Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and 10-key data entry and knowledge of financial software required, prior experience with Epicor, SAP Concur (Travel, Expense, Request & Invoice), and/or Workday Adaptive preferred.
  • Firm understanding of how to apply GAAP to General Ledger
  • Comprehensive understanding of all functional areas (revenue, A/R, A/P)
