Job Title: Corporate Partnerships Activation Specialist

Reports to:            Senior Director, Partnerships Strategy &  Activation


Status:
Nonexempt

 

Primary Objective:  Responsible for generating revenue through support of the Corporate Partnerships Sales and Activations teams. Working collaboratively with other departments, prepare and execute activation plans to deliver effective results to partners, maximize profitability and ensure growth and retention of all corporate partnerships.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Support Account Managers as day-to-day contact for corporate partners, providing exceptional customer service and proactively managing fulfillment of all contractual assets.
  • Schedule and attending meetings with current and prospective partners in order to better understand business objectives.
  • Prepare customized partnership proposals, recaps and presentations, incorporating team information as well as third-party market research and data.
  • Assist in planning, development and execution of partner programs; oversee all game-day partnership elements.
  • Responsible for the partner creative process, securing internal and external approvals and communicating to all stakeholders
  • Assist in coordinating all partner-related events including batting practices, networking events, and hospitality outings, acting as the point person when appropriate.
  • Accurately maintain sales and activation records in CRM
  • Assist wherever necessary to further market and promote the Mariners and our corporate partners. 
  • Keep abreast of the sports marketing trends in the marketplace and make innovative recommendations for improvement.
  • Creatively connect with other departments to maximize cross-selling opportunities; work cross-functionally to create and implement new ideas, inventory and opportunities that will drive incremental revenue.
  • Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of sponsorship, sales, activation, marketing or related experience preferably in professional sports, entertainment, or hospitality required.
