1.0       BRIEF DESCRIPTION:      

 

Automotive Exhaust Systems Product Development Engineer within the USA Exhaust BL R&D Department.

 

 

2.0            MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

§  Responsibilities in development include:

    •  After-treatment and Cold end system development for gasoline, diesel and hybrid applications. Focus on NVH, Thermal, Acoustics & Flow using CAE based approaches.
    • Support validation group in developing test methods and parameters, processing and reviewing data, CAE correlation.
  • Involvement in research efforts including power generation and light weighting technologies.

3.0     AUTHORITY:

 

4.0     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·       Education:

-  BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering

-  MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering  (preferred) 

·       Experience:

-  5+  years of experience in CAE

·       Skills:

-       Product Design & Release Experience

-       Advanced proficiency in GT Power and Star CCM+

-       Competency in NVH & Acoustic analysis tools and techniques

-       Excellent oral and written communication skills;

-       Strong organizational skills;

-       Ability to work on different projects on the same time;

-       Ability to work both independently and as a team member within a project environment with short-term concrete deliverables
