Description

The Utility Technician provides support to the Manufacturing department by performing a variety of duties as it relates to collecting and auditing information from supervisors.    The incumbent will also coordinate and participate in various company events.

 


PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Maintain accurate notes of weekly supervisor meetings.
  • Collect and review check sheets from supervisors during meetings.
  • Collect check sheets from Quality Control and verify the accuracy of data from the End of Shift (EOS) Report.
  • Audit 4M trackers for accuracy and scan to CKPS daily.
  • Ensure the 4M Board validation is provided and signed by managers during weekly meetings.
  • Attends Key Performance Indicator (KPI) board checks and provide confirmation of staff attendance via email to Senior Production Manager.
  • Maintain and order supplies for Janitorial, Production, and Administrative utilizing the Kelsan cleaning Supply list.
  • Assist shop floor managers with GK diagnostics documentation as needed.
  • Coordinate employee morale events (i.e. make flyers, handout prizes, decorate breakroom)
  • Performs other duties as needed.

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:  Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

  • A valid High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Strong Mathematical skills are required
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to perform all duties with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat and reach above shoulders.
  • Ability to lift up 30 lbs.
