Description
Description: Responsible for creation and troubleshooting of PLC programs, robot programs and controls wiring projects, as defined by the MFE Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Development and troubleshooting of PLC programs (primarily Siemens and Allen Bradley) for various types of equipment
- Development and troubleshooting of robot programs
- Design, installation and troubleshooting of control wiring for existing equipment and possible equipment to be designed and built in house
- Daily production support, for advanced equipment downtime issues
- Process improvements, to reduce cycle time and increase output
- Provide support in project coordination activities
- Provide support and training to employees, as required
- Must have flexibility in shift coverage

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: - Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or similar technical degree (5 years of experience working as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer in the field setting can be substituted for the degree)
- Minimum of 2 years of directly relevant working experience
- Quality and environmental systems
- Problem solving techniques
- Communication techniques
- Training in the work area
- Knowledge of computer packages (MS OFFICE)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
