Global Key Account Manager- WEST COAST (California location)

The Global Key Account Manager (G-KAM) is responsible for reinforcing a solid and trusting relationship between key customers and the Company. He or she will be expected to understand the customers market positioning as well as their future trends. Additionally, this person will be expected to understand and analyze the overall market conditions and recommend to the organization how to tie the market conditions to the customer needs to Marelli’s product line. The G-KAM will actively contribute to the realization of sales objectives together with Business Unit Sales and Business Development Team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a strategic planning along with the BU to improve the results of current customer product lines and to leverage that business to expand into new product lines within the customer group.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • Lead cross BU activities such as annual business plan reductions, LTA’s negotiations, as well as VAVE oversight to ensure consistency among all Marelli BU’s.
  • Coordinate the activities of all Business Units and functions in order to provide a consistent and cohesive service to the customer.
  • Responsible for customers’ satisfaction and customer claim management in conjuction with each BU.
  • Act as the main escalation point for customer issues requiring resolution support.
  • Work with Engineering, Sales, Marketing and all other departments in order to ensure that all customer needs are meet.
  • Develop contacts and relationships with new customers to sell products, introduce new product lines in order to assure sales growth and achieve internal Business Plan targets.

 10-15 Years experience
Bachelor's Degree required
