NAFTA (Regional) Electrical Commodity Leader

Responsible for NAFTA supplier panel and CR achievement


  • Lead and develop NAFTA supply base for Electrical commodity.
  • Lead and develop NAFTA localization strategy for Electrical commodity.
  • Co-ordinate NAFA global benchmarking activity for Electrical commodity.
  • Develop, implement and monitor in alignment with the Business Lines and Regions cross-functional commodity strategies reflecting and anticipating company needs, market and technology trends and guiding the organization on decisions to come.
  • Lead NAFTA PD BU teams to achieve annual MARELLI Electrical cost reduction targets.
  • Form and manage a supplier panel providing at competitive conditions and controlled risks the access to new and/or needed technologies and required capacities
  • Define in respect of the commodity strategies supplier bid lists with BU/Region for new business opportunities and follow the sourcing process
  • Monitor and drive achievement of defined Purchasing KPI
  • Active risk management for defined commodities
  • Drive evaluation and qualification of new supplier (Supplier Risk Assessment)
  • Contracts management
  • Lead budgeting, target definition and global negotiations


    EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION): Technical College Degree or Equivalent combination of Education and Experience

    LANGUAGES: Excellent written and spoken English; other languages are an advantage

    EXPERIENCES: 5 years in an International Purchasing Organization (depending on Commodity), preferable in automotive sector. Negotiating with high level supplier representatives.
