The Sr. Financial Analyst position is an upper level accounting position and can be responsible for various job duties within the department. Typical duties include Balance Sheet preparation, Profit and Loss Statements, and other financial reports.  Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.  Position reports organizations finances to managements and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies and assumptions underlying budgets/forecasts.   Position requires demonstrated knowledge of a variety of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the Accounting field.  This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and is able to work independently under minimal supervision.  Position also performs a variety of complicated tasks and may lead and direct the work of others.  A large degree of creativity and latitude is required.




  1. Perform General Leger Accounting, Financial Reporting and Analysis
  2. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
  3. Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options and create financial policies that align with company goals.
  4. Summarizes current Balance Sheet status by collecting information, preparing formal reconciling reports and coordinating with other affiliate companies where appropriate
  5. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  6. Develop financial models and cost projections
  7. Compare actual results with forecasted to analyze areas of strength and weakness and report to Management areas of concern
  8. Maintains financial security by following internal / J-Sox controls
  9. Prepares various analytical reports for financial reporting validation
  10. Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations
  11. Ability to lead various projects including cross functional teams and maintain project deadlines with on time delivery
  12. Complies with Federal, State and local financial legal requirements based on instruction by Management
  13. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
  14. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks
  15. Accomplishes the result by performing the duty
  16. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

This work is performed in a general Headquarters office environment. This position will interface with all functional areas throughout Global operations.



The incumbent must:

  • 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional Certification (CPA,CMA) or Master’s Degree a plus


  • 8 years minimum experience required


  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Goal-oriented that mirrors companies progression/succession planning
  • Excellent interpersonal communication.


  • Ability to learn new concepts and tasks quickly, work under pressure, and meet deadline requirements in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Accounting, Corporate Finance, Reporting/Research Skills, Deadline Oriented, GAAP/IFRS, Time Management, General Math Skills. SQL skills a plus.
