The Opportunity

We are looking for an accomplished Corporate Assistant to join our Structured Finance team as part of our financial services business in Grand Cayman.

The Cayman Islands is home to our global headquarters and where the Maples Group first established operations in the 1960s. Since then we have grown to become one of the largest employers in Cayman, where colleagues from all over the world collaborate to deliver best-in-class solutions to clients worldwide. As part of our Cayman team you will:

 

  • ability to deal with specific administrative and secretarial tasks, assisting with the coordination, execution and delivery of documents to various parties
  • preparing pro-forma documents, updating and maintaining databases and registering when requested
  • providing ad-hoc administrative support to the group

 

This position requires a high degree of attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency under pressure, ability to multi-task and excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills.

 

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

 

  • a minimum of 2 years’ administrative/ secretarial experience in the financial services industry;
  • must have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe and Outlook with a typing speed of 40wpm with complete accuracy.
  • prior experience arranging apostilles and compiling due diligence documentation would be advantageous
  • excellent written communication and fluency in English is required.
  • ability to work non-standard and/or longer hours on short notice would be advantageous.
