Position: VICE PRESIDENT/ ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT - FIDUCIARY (DIRECTOR SERVICES)
Location: SINGAPORE
The Vice President will serve as director of a diverse portfolio of investment funds and related offshore companies. Primary responsibilities include:
- Reviewing documents on a day-to-day basis, including transaction documents, bank documents, board resolutions etc.
- Coordinating the client acceptance process, ensuring compliance with standard KYC/AML requirements as well as Maples on-boarding policies
- Delivering high levels of client service while ensuring that each client relationship is compliant with internal policies and procedures
- conduct and/or chair regular board meetings as required as a director of various entities
- will be involved in ad hoc projects and represent MaplesFS at various industry association events
- liaising with investment bankers, lawyers, investment managers, prime brokers, custodians and other transaction parties located in various international jurisdictions
- keeping up to date with evolving regulatory regimes in Cayman Islands, BVI, USA and Singapore
- internal administration for portfolio of clients including client profile updates and regular risk reviews
- support business growth initiatives and projects to drive revenue with team members
What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
- University graduate with an excellent academic background
- At least 5-8 years relevant financial services experience
- An understanding of all forms of investment funds, experience in reviewing transaction documents and knowledge of corporate governance, relevant local laws and regulatory requirements is a must
- Chinese language skills are preferred.
- Must be able to work independently, thrive at multi-tasking and have strong problem solving, attention to detail, professionalism and good organizational skills;
- Able to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines; The interview process may include an aptitude test.
