The Opportunity

 

We are looking for an accomplished Vice President to join our Registrar and Transfer Agency Services team as part of our financial services business in Hong Kong.  

 

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the Vice President supports the RTA team focused on Private Equity Clients. Its tactical responsibilities feed one larger objective: to ensure we provide a risk averse environment to our clients and strengthen our client relationships by collaboration, teamwork and a drive to exceed.

 

Your primary responsibilities include: 

 

Core Role

  • Structural set-up on various TA platforms of complex fund structures;
  • Review of fund documents prior to launch of new funds to ensure operational feasibility and minimise ambiguity;
  • Assuming global responsibility for workflow system support;
  • Testing and implementation of TA platforms upgrades and new functionality, including any required training to the RTA teams;
  • Providing support to the SVP and other RTA staff to ensure all business requirements are being delivered timely and accurately;
  • Key point of contact with clients of all Investor Service related issues;
  • Be a positive mentor and leader for all RTA team members.

 

Training and Development

 

  • Managing the use of TA systems with goal of optimal efficiency, providing training to RTA staff as necessary;
  • Testing and implementation of system upgrades and new functionality, including any required training to global RTA teams;
  • Assisting with global project of Business Process Redesign for RTA processing.

 

Risk Management

 

  • Continued development and monitoring of policies and procedures for ensuring completeness and accuracy of trade loads and market data;
  • Reporting business issues to the SVPs and Head of Fund Operations.

 

Business Development

 

  • Demonstrating keen awareness of industry and technology trends;
  • Provide process improvement solutions.

 

Other

 

  • Ad-hoc projects, as required;
  • Migration projects.

 

What You Bring

  • Degree Holder with 7-10 years in Financial services industry;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also independently;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Strong technical skills;
  • Flexible and adaptable to change;
  • Positive attitude & energy;
  • Proficiency in Investran and other PE platforms.
