The Opportunity
We are looking for an AML Administrator to join our AML Services team as part of our financial services business in Luxembourg.
As part of our AML Services team you will be performing the below key duties:
Key Duties:
The AML Administrator is a varied and wide-ranging role. This includes, but is not limited to, the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of clients assigned to the team, including:
- maintaining the integrity of the information, data, and documentation held on the Maples IT Systems;
- creation and maintenance of client files and ensuring all pre-closing and post-closing tasks are completed on a timely manner;
- ensuring that the physical and digital client folders are filled and organized in compliance with internal policies and procedures;
- coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure correct and up to date information is being collected and passed to the AML team;
- liaising and answering any client request on a timely manner;
- assisting with the drafting of AML deliverables, including ML/TF risk assessment of investment funds, risk appetite statements, and regular AML reports to the board of managers;
- any other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience gained in Luxembourg in similar roles (in a fiduciary company/ with a professional of the finance sector, a law firm, or a financial institution);
- Previous experience in performing compliance tasks, in particular related to investment funds and AML obligations in Luxembourg, as well as knowledge of corporate governance, relevant Luxembourg laws and regulatory requirements are a must;
- Previous experience in a client-facing role would be considered an advantage as communication with external counterparties will be frequent.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably legal, business or finance;
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written. Good command of French would be an asset, and any other additional languages considered as an advantage.
