The Opportunity  
 
We are looking for a Senior Administrator to join our Company Secretarial Team as part of our financial services business in London.  
  
Key Duties: 
The Senior Company Secretarial Administrator reports to the Company Secretarial Vice President and supports the wider company Secretarial team. Its tactical responsibilities feed one larger objective: Assisting with the compliance administration and management of a portfolio of clients where company secretarial services are provided.
 
Primary responsibilities include:
 
  • Acting as a main point of contact for client companies and their board of directors
  • Liaising with lawyers and other legal representatives
  • Coordinating all statutory and regulatory filings, maintain statutory books and records
  • Responding to queries from clients and acting as a channel of communication for clients and directors on all matters of company law and corporate governance
  • Coordinating, scheduling and attending Board, Committee and Shareholder meetings
  • Drafting agendas, minutes and resolutions
  
 
Requirements 
 
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following: 
  
  • Degree qualified (or nearly qualified) with a strong academic background 
  • A corporate secretarial qualification from the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland is highly preferable 
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a corporate company secretarial role preferably within UK legal or accountancy firm(s) 
  • Familiarity with the Companies Act 2006 essential 
  • Knowledge of Kube Software is a bonus (training is provided) 
  • Strong team player but also equally capable of working on their own initiative 
  • Excellent time management, organizational and prioritisation skills plus excellent communication skills 
  • Independent in work; pro-active and attentive to details  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills, being methodical, with strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver on tight timescales  
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
