The Opportunity 
 
We are looking for an accomplished Marketing Executive to join our Global Marketing Communications team as part of our financial services business in Grand Cayman. 
 
The Cayman Islands is home to our global headquarters and where the Maples Group first established operations in the 1960s. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive supports the global Marketing Communications team, contributing to marketing activities, campaigns, content and operational processes. Its tactical responsibilities feed one larger objective: deliver forward-thinking marketing solutions that raise the Maples Group's profile as a premier financial services provider and employer of choice. 
 
Your primary responsibilities include:
 
  • work closely with senior management teams and key stakeholders across our global offices to identify marketing opportunities, recommend appropriate marketing channels and budget spend, promote internal awareness and cross-selling initiatives, and ensure consistency and coordination across all marketing efforts;
  • develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to support brand awareness and promote thought leadership content, and assist with tracking and reporting on campaign performance;
  • support the development of engaging content for websites, print and digital ads, client communications, brochures, newsletters, pitch proposals, presentations, etc.;
  • support the promotion of brand awareness and thought leadership content for distribution across multimedia platforms including print, digital, video and social media;
  • prepare creative briefs and work with the Digital and Creative Services team to deliver a range of creative design and digital content requests;
  • work with the Business Development and Client Relationship Management teams in the Americas and Caribbean offices to coordinate and support branding needs for client events and conferences, including ordering promotional items, circulating client communications and invitations, supplying appropriate branding materials, and providing on-the-ground support as required;
  • support the execution of human resources (HR) and talent acquisition (TA) strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention and improve employer branding and recruitment marketing;
  • provide branding and communications support for HR events and programmes, and run digital recruitment marketing campaigns across job search platforms and social media;
  • follow and promote best practice protocols, ensuring marketing materials and communications are on brand and are developed and distributed in line with approved processes;
  • liaise with the Marketing, HR and TA teams in the other offices to ensure consistency and coordination of all marketing communications efforts;
  • assist with global promotion and merchandising initiatives;
  • support collateral audits and updates;
  • provide administrative and operational support across marketing activities, including assisting with invoice processing for vendors, managing the team inbox, coordinating photography and asset development, maintaining website biographies; and
  • carry out any other duties which may from time to time be required.
 
What You Bring
 
In addition to a commitment to delivering superior candidate and stakeholder experiences:
 
  • a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications;
  • a minimum of 4 years' experience in a professional services marketing role within the financial services industry;
  • experience working with social media networks and reporting dashboards, Google Ads, website CMS and analytics platforms, CRM and email marketing software products, and other marketing automation systems;
  • knowledge of global recruitment marketing across digital channels, particularly LinkedIn Life, with experience supporting candidate engagement strategies and employer branding campaigns;
  • proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • excellent copywriting, editing, and oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work with all levels of senior management and staff;
  • ability to use initiative, be self-motivated and work independently to complete high volumes of work under tight deadlines; and
  • strong organisational skills, attention to detail and efficiency with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
