The Opportunity / Who We Seek 
We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team as part of our financial services business in Dublin. The role is primarily focused on Jersey and UK legal entities. This is a 12 month maternity cover contract role.

Responsibilities: 
The Senior Financial Accountant is a varied and wide-ranging role that includes, but is not limited to, the following:
  • Timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts, including analysis and commentary.
  • Manage and supervise all financial transaction cycles, most importantly revenue cycle and monitor client balances.
  • Preparation and review of journal entries and oversight of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare annual statutory accounts and collaborate seamlessly with auditors for a smooth audit process.
  • Preparation and monitoring of statutory requirements to ensure compliance with relevant obligations, such as VAT, regulatory submissions, and board reporting.
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process.
Requirements 
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 2+ years post qualification experience.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to display analytical and pragmatic thinking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
