The Opportunity
Following a review of early careers at Maples, we are seeking an experienced Early Careers Programs Lead to manage the design, development, and implementation of early careers programs here at Maples. Reporting to the TA Director, this new role will be pivotal in shaping and driving our undergraduate and pilot graduate programs, influencing Maples' strategy in this key talent segment. This is a 12-month contract.
As part of the global expansion of the Maples Group’s financial services offering, our Dublin office opened its doors in 2006. Located in the city centre, a commitment to service excellence and investment in our people quickly established Dublin as a regional hub where our 250+ teammates deliver best-in-class solutions to clients worldwide alongside our colleagues in legal services.
Duties in brief:
- Support the development and Implementation of four distinct early careers programs, including three undergraduate programs and a pilot graduate program.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of these programs, ensuring alignment with the our talent acquisition strategy and business goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the programs meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Build and leverage internal networks with Learning and Business teams to enhance learning material and department-specific content.
- Work with business teams to develop work programs and objectives for interns that ensures exposure to meaningful work that enhances the internship experience at Maples.
- Work with internal stakeholders to design and develop the pilot graduate program. This program is envisaged to hire top performing interns directly into our graduate program, and will involve detailed design, stakeholder engagement, and in-life management of program participants.
- Work with the TA and HR shared services teams to co-ordinate the recruitment and onboarding of interns and graduate program participants.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance program content, training material, delivery, and outcomes (conversion to FTE).
- Ensure compliance with global best practices and standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, industry partners, and internal teams.
What you Bring
- 8+ years' experience in early careers programs in a global or multinational organisation, ideally within the financial services or professional services sectors.
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing early careers programs, including internships and graduate schemes.
- Strong understanding of talent development and lifecycle management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a complex global environment, and partner with SMEs and stakeholders to distil requirements and develop programs with impact.
- Preferably, you will hold a degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business, or a related field.
