About Your New Role
The Cash Operations Supervisor will oversee the daily cash management and processing functions performed across multiple jurisdictions. The primary focus of this role is to supervise the team’s day‑to‑day performance, ensuring operational accuracy, timely execution, adherence to internal controls, and delivery against established SLAs.
The Supervisor will report directly to the Cash Operations VP and will be responsible for enforcing the policies, processes, and procedures set forth by the business.
- Supervise daily team tasks, assign duties, and lead team meetings.
- Serve as the primary contact for cash-related operational inquiries.
- Manage employee workflow, time, and deliverables; coordinate and prioritize work of junior team members.
- Payment processing and controls
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide coaching, support development, and drive continuous improvement.
- Escalate issues promptly to the Cash Operations VP.
- Ensure timely completion of cash processing, approvals, reconciliations, and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Oversee the cash operations inbox and monitor end-to-end daily cash operations, including workflow, documentation, payment runs, and record-keeping standards.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and support special projects; train employees and foster staff development.
About You
- 3-5 years of treasury, bank operations, or a similar role
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Prior work experience in cash operations, bank operations, treasury operations, or a similar role
- Working knowledge of OFAC and global sanctions screening
- Strong knowledge of payment processing workflows, including daily oversight of wire transfers, FX, cross currency payments
- Expertise in payment formatting standards, such as MT/MX message types, XML formats, and regional banking requirements.
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset
- Excellent computer skills, with proficiency with the entire Microsoft Office Suite
- Highest level of attention to detail while executing every task, strict adherence to Policy and expected timelines/turnaround times
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Ability to assess time constraints (i.e. seasonal deadlines, statutory holidays) and ensure work is delivered on time with minimal reminder
- Flexibility and adaptability to a changing work environment
- Ability to deliver high‑quality and accurate work within tight deadlines
- Proven track record of excellent results and no mistakes while processing daily tasks in previous role
