The Opportunity
This role will be part of the Maples Group Structured Finance department and will serve as a Client Service Professional on a diverse portfolio of Structured Finance transactions to both onshore and offshore companies.
Key duties will include:
- Exercising fiduciary duties, reviewing transaction documents, coordinating the client acceptance process;
- delivering high levels of client service while ensuring that each client relationship is compliant with internal policies and procedures;
- establishing relationships and acting as key liaison with lawyers, investment firms, collateral managers, and other transaction parties located in international jurisdictions;
- ensuring all databases are completed and maintained with accurate information in relation to assigned portfolio of clients and all new business for CSPs as assigned;
- ensuring invoices are raised and disseminated to clients in a timely manner and in accordance with the administration agreements for assigned portfolio of client mandates, and in assisting CSPs as assigned with invoices in respect of new business mandates.
What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
- The successful candidate will be a university graduate with an excellent academic background;
- will have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in the financial services industry;
- knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory requirements;
- ability to demonstrate strong project management and organizational skills;
- strong analytical skills and attention to details, accuracy and efficiency;
- the ability to use initiative, be self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision, and work well under pressure to complete high volumes of work under tight deadlines;
- will be expected to demonstrate strong drafting, communication and presentation skills.
