The Opportunity
The successful candidate reports to the Vice President and supports Corporate Secretary Department. Its tactical responsibilities feed one larger objective: will be responsible for providing client management, board support and corporate secretarial services to a single strategic client. Primary responsibilities include:
- support the Vice President and Assistant Vice Presidents to manage a portfolio of Singapore private entities
- responsible for all aspects of establishing and on-going administration of client companies
- must be familiar with all aspects of these processes (including ACRA filings), maintaining statutory records, preparation of board and shareholder written resolutions and providing other corporate secretarial services to ensure that client companies are in compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
- occasionally involve in arranging board and general meetings and, if applicable, attendance at such meetings and writing of meeting minutes
- perform client on-boarding and maintain information in our internal systems regarding all client companies including KYC data
- overseeing daily operations with a view to maintaining workflow and applying high corporate governance standards in all areas
What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
- must be able to work independently, have strong problem solving and organizational skills, thrive at multi-tasking and attention to details
- able to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- possess a law, accountancy or business degree or diploma from a reputable institution and/or is a qualified Singapore Chartered Secretary or pursuing such a qualification
- strong technical, communication and soft skills and able to build excellent relationships with clients and team members
- have between 4 to 6 years’ corporate secretarial experience for the Corporate Administrator position and between 2 to 4 years’ corporate secretarial experience for the Corporate Administrative Assistant position, in an established Singapore law, accounting or corporate secretarial firm
- fresh graduates who can demonstrate an interest to pursue a career in corporate secretarial services will also be considered for the Corporate Administrative Assistant position
The interview process may include an aptitude test.
