About the Role  
The Finance Manager will be primarily in charge of the financial reporting and control of entities under the responsibility of the Cayman Islands finance team. 
  
Responsibilities include: 
  • Manage, supervise and further develop the finance team 
  • Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budgets, board reporting, cashflow management and financial forecasts for multiple legal entities. 
  • Manage detailed reporting and submissions regarding key areas of financial performance, statutory and regulatory accounts to ensure compliance with relevant obligations, laws and regulations. This includes but is not limited to annual board reporting and regulatory submissions and/or requirements. 
  • Manage the annual audit for relevant legal entities. 
  • Manage and supervise all financial transaction cycles and monitor client balances. 
  • Act as main point of contact with Shared Service Centre on AP processes and issues. 
  • Responsible for review and control of balance sheet reconciliations for the relevant legal entities. 
  • Ability to partner with the business on relevant finance topics and KPIs. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Work closely with finance project lead(s) to assist in implementing new systems and financial processes, including the application of accounting policies and procedures. 
  • Assisting with ad-hoc queries and reporting from internal and external stakeholders. 
   
What You Bring  
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:   
   
  • An internationally recognised accounting designation (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACMA or ACCA). 
  • A minimum of 6 years post-qualified experience and at least 4 years audit experience, preferably in the Big 4. 
  • Proven management skills relating to processes, workflows, training and development of the Finance team, which includes various levels of professionals. 
  • Highly organized, efficient, and have project management skills in order to lead planned initiatives. 
  • Responsible for adhering to the finance policies and procedures manuals within the team, and will be involved in monitoring of global transfer pricing policies. 
  • Held a similar managerial role at an equivalent level for at least 1-3 year(s) would be an asset. 
  • A self-starter with the ability to independently and pro-actively manage upcoming deliverables. 
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards. 
  • Familiarity with transfer pricing models will be an asset for this role. 
  • Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills. 
  • Willingness to work overtime and under pressure.
