About the Role 

The BA will be key in defining and driving business process change. For each initiative, this position will partner with the business to determine the problem statement, perform root cause analysis, calculate ROI, identify quick-wins, create, evaluate and recommend a portfolio of solutions, map AS-IS and TO-BE processes and transition improvements to the business.  The BA will be working with key stakeholders from all parts of the organisation throughout each initiative. Using a combination of strong business understanding, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent interviewing and facilitation techniques, this role will drive business solutions to solve our biggest challenges. The responsibilities for the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Apply the appropriate tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, RPA) to complex business problems and implement solutions which provide positive performance and financial impacts
  • Lead process of identifying, sizing, prioritizing, selecting and scoping business improvement opportunities
  • Gather and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data through various systems, processes and tools to define problems and to measure the effectiveness of potential solutions
  • Conduct process improvement workshops leveraging established methodologies
  • Perform data analysis, process definition and documentation, process reengineering, change impact facilitation and solution delivery
  • Build strong partnerships with team members, including business product managers and IT project managers.  Collaborate effectively across matrixed global teams
  • Support cross-functional teams in developing standard work, training programs and metrics to support business process improvement projects
  • Help build the Continuous Improvement function, including internal processes, documentation, and modelling
  • Serve as primary process expert of one or more value streams across Maples Group
  • Map the AS-IS and TO-BE business processes using the standards from BPMN 2.0
  • Collaborate globally with flexibility to work across different time zones depending on project needs 

EXPERIENCE 

 

What You Bring 

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field or the equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Process Analyst including mapping AS-IS/TO-BE business processes
  • Experience with BPMN 2.0 or similar methodology
  • Strong people and communication skills (written, verbal and presentations to groups)
  • Ability to deliver under timeline pressure and respond to a changing environment
  • Effective leadership skills and proven ability to influence individuals and teams to achieve results
  • Ability to manage demanding and challenging stakeholders
  • Experience working with international, virtual, multi-disciplined, and high-performing working teams
  • Extensive experience reviewing and examining business processes and systems, modeling and analysing data, organising activities and developing business strategies
  • High level of quality in work products, including detailed documentation, comprehensive analysis and precision in conclusions made
  • Appropriate process training/qualifications preferred (Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Experience working in a legal, financial or professional services environment is preferred
