About the Role
Working closely with colleagues across the Banking and Finance team the successful candidate will enjoy challenging and high-profile work. The role represents excellent opportunity for an experienced transactional lawyer to join our Banking and Finance Group and make a significant contribution to our growing practice.
The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Advising clients on a wide range of legal matters, with a particular focus on providing legal advice to our clients in general banking transactions (including structured finance, fund finance, corporate finance and asset finance)
- Working with a client base that comprises of domestic and international clients and prestigious foreign law firms
- Engaging in business development activities, being active in the promotion of the firm and seeking opportunities for new work and cross-selling
- Working as part of a team and in daily interaction with the partners and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience within the team
EXPERIENCE
What You Bring
- Candidates must have 2-5 years' relevant post qualification transactional experience in banking and finance, ideally gained within a top-tier law firm
- Experience in structured finance, fund finance, corporate finance and/or asset finance is essential
- Admission to the Luxembourg Bar or eligibility to be registered on List IV of the Luxembourg Bar
- Strong academic background, with excellent written communication and drafting skills
- Outstanding technical skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues, and work well in a team environment
- You must be eligible to work within Luxembourg
This post requires significant attention to detail, professionalism, ability to multi-task, and excellent organisational, prioritisation and communications skills. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to adhere to internal policies and procedures.
