About the Role
The Legal Cashier Administrator is responsible for monitoring the firms accounts help inboxes and ensuring all emails are correctly allocated to internal teams and any queries and escalations are handled correctly and in a timely manner. The role requires a methodical approach and a high level of attention to detail. In addition, the Legal Cashier Administrator will be responsible for various administrative tasks such as internal housekeeping, keying invoices on to our internal systems. They will to deadlines, contribute towards projects, communicate openly and operate effectively in a team environment. Primary responsibilities include:
- Monitor the firm's accounts help inbox and ensure all emails that require distribution to folders for either another departments action or for filing purposes are sent to the correct location
- Ensure queries and escalations generated through the mailboxes are handled correctly and promptly through to the appropriate resolution
- Administrative duties appropriate to the role (inc. reviewing remittances, coding and keying invoices onto our internal systems)
- In busy periods assisting the Legal Cashier's in ensuring all cash receipts received are processed accurately and in a timely manner in line with the firms current processes and policies and any relevant regulatory requirements
- To perform internal housekeeping on share drives and mailbox folders in a regular basis
- Provide a high standard of professional customer service to both internal staff and external clients with a high level of both written and verbal communication
- Complete all Statutory training within the time frames set
- Ensure compliance in line with the Firm's procedure and, where applicable, local country legal requirements including the appropriate anti money laundering legislation

What You Bring

- Previous experience as a Legal Cashier Administrator or experience gained in a similar role
- Great numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Experience of using investigative skills
- Experience of working in a multi-currency environment
- Experience of working with overseas banks
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- A team player, capable of working together towards a common goal
- Experience of excel and word
- Self-motivated and pro-active
- Able to deliver to deadlines
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and prioritise under a backlog situation
