About the Role
The Maples Group are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer who would like to work with likeminded colleagues in developing robust and scalable applications for the growing market. The Senior Quality Engineer reporting to the QA Manager will work closely alongside Business Analysts, Automation Engineer, Developers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and business stakeholders to deliver the highest quality standards.
- Coordination of testing activities working as an Individual and/or part of the QA Team
- Creation of comprehensive and well defined Test Scenarios which can be traced back to requirements via Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Creation/Execution of Functional, Integration, E2E (End to End), Test Scenarios
- Creation/Execution of Regression Test Packs (where applicable)
- Lead/Participate In defect Triage meetings both Internally and externally i.e. 3rd party vendors
- Contribute to management reporting inclusive of applicable test metrics, test preparation, test execution, defect reporting
- Escalate risks and Issues to the appropriate level ensuring speedy resolution
- Act as a quality champion and take responsibility for ensuring quality Is Integrated Into all facets of the SDLC
EXPERIENCE
What You Bring
- At least 3-5+ years' experience In a similar role; familiarity with various testing techniques, knowledge of quality standards and regulations, great trouble shooting skills and be of an analytical mind-set
- Attention to detail and logical approach to problem solving
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to deal with multiple business demands simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good Interpersonal & self-organizing skills and an ability to build relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Good Technical and Basic Automation skills
- Worked on both Agile and Waterfall Projects
- Worked at and feels comfortable within international, virtual, multi-cultural, multi-disciplined, high performance working teams
- Experience working in a legal or professional services environment would be advantageous
- A certification in Quality Assurance is a plus. Training will be ongoing based on individual and the business' needs and changes to any relevant local laws ensuring compliance at all times
