About the Role

Working closely with colleagues across the Funds team the successful candidate will enjoy challenging and high profile work. The role includes the following duties:

 

  • Advising clients on a wide range of matters, with a particular focus on providing legal advice to our clients on Luxembourg fund formation, ongoing legal and regulatory compliance as well as restructuring of Luxembourg investment vehicles
  • Working with a client base that comprises of domestic and international clients
  • Engaging in business development activities, being active in the promotion of the firm and seeking opportunities for new work and cross-selling
  • Working as part of a team including, supervising junior lawyers’ work, and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience within the team
  • Liaising with our colleagues from other offices, the Luxembourg authorities as well as domestic and international clients

 

EXPERIENCE

 

What You Bring

Applicants should have highly relevant experience in general Funds matters and be looking for long-term career with the Maples Group. Candidates must have between 1 - 3 year's relevant post qualification experience. This roles requires the candidate to be admittted to the Luxembourg Bar or eligible to be registered on List IV of the Luxembourg Bar.

 

This post requires outstanding technical skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team enviroment. You must be eligible to work within Luxembourg and be bilingual with at least English, French and/or German.
