Malwarebytes is looking for...   
 You will be a part of an all-star consumer privacy team that is responsible for shaping our strategy, defining business requirements, and determining sprint priorities for privacy and identity protection products. You will partner with other product management team members to deliver final products to our iOS and Android customers. This position will work closely with engineering, marketing, user experience, program management and customer support. A successful product manager is an expert on their products with excellent communication skills to evangelize products internally across functional teams and externally to Malwarebytes. The ability to communicate the values of Malwarebytes solutions by providing key use cases, product demonstrations and roadmap presentations is key to your success.
 
 
 
What You Will Do: 
  • Work closely with Product Management and Product Marketing to define and execute the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Malwarebytes product line for consumer Android and iOS users  
  • Conduct market and user research to identify unmet customer needs and to inform future product direction   
  • Analyze competitive landscape and conduct technology assessments  
  • Advocate for users to ensure customer satisfaction and acceptance  
  • Collaborate with Growth, UI/UX, and Engineering teams to define new product experiences  
  • Translate high-level product features into epics and detailed user stories  
  • Act as the technical product expert for the mobile technology stack  
  • Build, prune, and maintain the team backlog of epics, user stories, defects, refactors, infrastructure work  
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement sessions, sprint reviews, and participate in retrospectives and daily standups  
  • Work closely with the scrum team to promote the product vision, explain your user stories, make key decisions, negotiate trade-offs, and ensure on-time delivery of releases  
  • Coordinate with Program Management and Marketing to ensure smooth product launches  
  • Collaborate with other Technical, Product Strategy and Product Marketing Managers to share knowledge and experience, coordinate with other releases and deliver great products  
  • Participate in beta programs and our public forums on an on-going basis  
  • Maintain close relationships with the cross-functional team (Support, Marketing, Engineering and QA) to answer questions about your product  
  • Evangelize and defend the vision of the product with the internal teams on a day-to-day basis    
 
Skills You Will Need to Have: 
  • 2-5 years of software product management experience  
  • Background in the mobile space (both iOS and Android) required  
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred  
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into business requirements. 
  • Self-directed, proactive, highly detailed-oriented, results-driven, with the ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, collaborative environment  
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new domains and skills, with a focus on staying updated with industry trends and best practices. 
  • Strong exposure to user experience design and user research  
  • Ability to collaborate and interact across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational levels  
  • Ability to speak with internal and external customers with knowledge and professionalism  
  • Creative thinker, problem solver, and strong leader with excellent attention to detail  
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to changes, and maintain a positive attitude  
  • Highly self-motivated, pro-actively reporting on status and tasks  
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fun and fast-paced culture  
  • Travel as required  
  • Experience leading product development in cybersecurity preferred
