Malwarebytes is looking for…
We’re looking for a talented software engineer who loves developing security software for Microsoft Windows, with some experience in Windows internals and a willingness to incredibly improve their Windows kernel/user development skills. Their responsibilities will be mainly improving existing Windows security tools, research, and implementing new malware detection and protection technologies. On-site availability in Perugia, Italy is strongly preferred.
What You’ll Do:
- Software development under the Microsoft Windows platform (C/C++/.NET)
- Maintaining existing protection and detection tools and platforms
- Implementing new research tools and malware detection features
- Joint development of user mode and kernel mode software
Skills You’ll Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of Windows software development
- C/C++ and C# knowledge
- Microsoft Windows internals knowledge
- Knowledge of how to develop using Windows APIs
- Fluency in English and Italian languages is mandatory
- Team player and excellent self-learning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a high-performance team, in a high-technology business Company
- Creative thinking and problem-solving, with a positive and motivated approach
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in malware analysis and the cybersecurity field in general.
- Experience in Windows driver development and debugging using WinDbg and alternatives
- Experience in MacOS or Linux development and their internals
