We’re looking for a Design Systems Designer to help build and maintain a cohesive design system across our products. You’ll collaborate with product designers, product managers, and engineers to create reusable components and design standards that ensure consistency, scalability, and a high-quality user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong visual design background, expertise in design systems, and a passion for creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces. This role offers the opportunity to shape our design culture and drive innovation at scale.
You will join our UX Team based in Portugal / USA / Tallinn.
What You’ll Do:
- Define visual design principles and language for our corporate products, Nebula, OneView and our Admin mobile app.
- Own the UI visual style and identity, ensuring consistency across all corporate products.
- Lead and maintain the Figma Design System files, ensuring alignment and evolution with team input.
- Define and manage the Design System change process and operations.
- Create and oversee the Design System documentation.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improving the Design System.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure effective utilization of the Design System.
- Work closely with product designers to integrate visual and interactive elements seamlessly.
- Collaborate with engineering to develop robust, polished components.
- Develop comprehensive design guidelines that embody the ThreatDown brand (Malwarebytes Corporate brand).
- Champion accessibility best practices and integrate them into design solutions.
- Create conceptual designs and propose product directions based on research and requirements.
- Conduct UI visual quality assurance to maintain high design standards across all products.
Skills You’ll Need to Have:
- 4+ years of experience in designing complex B2B systems/platforms
- 2+ years of experience working on design systems at a product-focused company
- 2+ years of experience utilizing Figma’s component libraries
- Passionate about design systems and their impact
- High mastery of Figma, including its advanced capabilities
- Experience in close collaboration with R&D teams
- Positive attitude and partnership mindset
- Ability to work autonomously, adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Pragmatic work approach with excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
