Position Summary:

As the Payroll Specialist, reporting to the Director – Global Payroll Operations, you’ll spend your time processing payroll and payroll tax related items. You’ll also be a key partner in recommending, planning, and implementing payroll enhancement projects that enable the business. You embrace change.   • Support the global payroll operations team to ensure an awesome global payment experience.
  • Support the global Workday implementation project & continue to build Workday admin skills
  • Process payroll using Cloud Pay, NMBRS, and Workday for assigned countries (India, Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States, and Canada)
  • Research employee issues and process corrections meeting current company standards
  • Audit and maintain personnel files and other official documents within our systems.
  • Audit and maintain compliance with local payroll and payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Engage with the cross-functional HR team to drive payroll results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Finance and IT, to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Process Payroll in line with global company controls, legal and taxation standards, procedures, collective tariff agreements, country specific requirements, and comply with legislative obligations and internal auditing requirements
  • Data entry and verification, new employees set up in payroll system
  • Meeting compliance by verifying data accuracy
  • Controls net variances from previous month in sync with our Global payroll team
  • Prepare a Gross to Net pay file per legal entity to control bank files generated
  • Manage final payroll settlement based on data received from HR and in system payroll data
  • Support the reconciliation of Payroll on monthly basis
  • Support Year End payroll process, payroll projects, and new country implementations

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience for organizations with and employee population of 500+.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferred, but not required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel (MS Excel level should be Advanced)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and focus on work with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong multitasking skills and a good team-player
  • HRIS system experience (Workday, NMBRS, Cloud Pay preferred)
