About Us:

We are seeking a dynamic Field Service Manager to join our Rental Services Team, overseeing the shop and field operations for our customer-owned equipment. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the service operations, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, quality, and efficiency
  • Coordinate and manage service and repair tasks, focusing on price competitiveness and quick turnarounds
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach, prioritizing price, quality, and speed of service
  • Schedule and oversee daily shop functions, meeting time and cost goals
  • Communicate effectively with customers, management, and technicians for seamless operations
  • Provide leadership to Leadmen and technicians, guiding their training and development
  • Assist in equipment troubleshooting and repairs, supporting timely service completion
  • Manage work orders, estimates, and work in progress efficiently
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships through timely communication and follow-ups
  • Monitor and control shop expenses, ensuring profitability
  • Establish a high-performing team culture, overseeing hiring, training, and evaluations
  • Uphold safety standards and promote a safe work environment

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent, with additional vocational training in diesel technology preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in diesel technology, with 3 years of customer service experience
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to task completion
  • Proven ability to set and achieve goals aligned with company objectives
  • Dedication to employee development and coaching
  • Excellent knowledge of product and market
  • Professionalism in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in industry-specific computer programs and basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
