Position Summary
Our Painters prepare and paint Heavy Equipment, engines, various components, and attachments. Painters are responsible for housekeeping (5S) and properly maintaining company-issued tooling and equipment while following strict safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare & Paint Heavy Equipment in the Paint Booth area.
- Maintain 5S, company issued tools and equipment.
- Drive machines to be painted into paint booth / area.
- Performs body repairs as necessary.
- Orders and tracks paint and paint supplies.
- Follows strict safety protocols, using proper PPE such as mask, full paint suit or respirator.
- Completes all required reporting and service reports.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent.
- 1-3 years minimum of paint and bodywork experience.
- A strong knowledge of paint application and methods.
- The ability to work overtime and weekends.
- Applies initiative, demonstrating a “self-starting” ability to daily work and proactively making improvements to the work process.
- Takes personal responsibility with work assignments, keeping commitments and following through on requests.
