Project Manager - Integration & Growth

Position Summary
This position is a focal point for completing strategic workstreams identified to integrate multiple autonomous groups within the MacAllister Family of Companies, including development of transition/integration plans; coordinating resources, issues, and solutions with task forces; producing detailed integration recommendations and plans for approval of the integration teams and officer group; and overseeing the implementation of certain integration activities. This resource will work alongside workstream leaders as a support mechanism, catalyst, and planner to achieve integration goals set by company leadership.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve as a member of the integration project core team, and report task force progress and issues to the integration project core team.
- Ensure completion of and adherence to the integration task force charter.
- Coordinate overall activities of the integration leadership group, under the guidance of MFC Integration Champion.
- Support workstream owners & teams with Continuous Improvement methods and tools to enable efficient team sessions, improvement capture, and change management best practices.
- Participate in common communication processes using multiple tools for exchanging information among task force members and among the company as appropriate.
- Coordinate task force meetings, ensuring meetings take place as often as necessary, and participation from appropriate team members throughout.
- Ensure appropriate meeting notes are summarized into specific action items/responsibilities and distribute to members.
- Submit weekly, one-page e-mail progress reports to the integration champion in advance of the weekly integration project core team meetings.
- Ensure appropriate links across interrelated task forces for overlap and coordination issues.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No formal responsibility for supervising others.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related business study is required.
- 5+ years of project or program management
- 5+ years of continuous improvement experience
- 5+ years change management methodologies
- 5+ years of service operations of service industry experience
- 5+ years of sales or sales support, customer service-related experience
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in business
- Six Sigma certification
- PMP certification

Other Requirements of Position
- Frequent (2-3 times per month) travel to Michigan or other locations, usually with an overnight stay per trip.
- Works under general supervision. Employee acts independently to handle standard problems but usually report on such problems. More unusual problems are referred to a supervisor/manager.
- Major responsibilities typically require a modest amount of creativity and latitude. Employee typically operates under general instructions with some established procedures and policies.
- If an error is made while in this position, it will require some effort to identify and a moderate effect on the company.
- Frequently communicates with coworkers, customers, vendors, and management.
